2021 Geek-A-Long Sweater: Clue 15

Hello Fall! For the first time in WEEKS it is both cool enough -and- not pouring rain. I have opened my windows and embraced my fall seasonal allergies which are frankly a delightful change from my summer seasonal allergies. This is the weather the On Board Sweater was made for.

OK, well, maybe not this exact weather. The On Board Sweater will be best suited to the dead cold abyss of winter (I’m pretty sure that even without the yoke it weighs approximately one Mabel). Speaking of, she’s now 3 weeks into school and that’s going really well! She had the Scholastic Book Fair last week and I had forgotten the absolute thrill that is caused by that thin little Book Fair Flyer. She pulled it out of her bag and hands it to me with sparkling eyes and I had to really restrain myself. Because now I’m an adult and I can buy these books. I can buy ALL THE BOOKS. But….I also have a mortgage and student loans. So we held ourselves back, but not so much that Mr. Llama didn’t give me some serious side eye when he saw the final tally of the books Mabel and I can’t live without. Until I showed him the fine selection of pokemon themed options. One Super Deluxe Trainer’s Handbook and an activity book that comes with pokeball erasers later, and we are all living our best book fair lives.

Except for Inara, who is living her best GAL nap life:
