Welcome to week 13 Geek-A-Long Nation!! Summer is winding down, kids are headed back to school, and it is pumpkin spice season. I mean, to be fair it’s *always* pumpkin spice at my house, but during this part of the year I get to rub my nutmeg based lifestyle in everyone’s faces. There is a ton going on behind the scenes at Lattes and Llamas, including preparations for the 2022 Geek-A-Long, and some very special tributes to the Wheel of Time series* that I’ll be sharing more details on in a few weeks.
As much fun as this time of the year is, it’s also been a hard year for mental health. Both Jac and I have had weeks where it’s hard to keep our heads above water. This week, I wanted to take a minute, as we all deal with the world starting to spin again (whether or not it should, it is) and I know we aren’t the only ones that have struggled with re-emerging or new depression this year. Therapy and medication are an essential part of our daily routines, and if you are struggling with the daily grind right now, I hope that you will reach out to a mental health professional. Better Help and Talk Space are both great options. Love you guys. Take care of yourselves.
This Clue 13 picks up where 12 left off, and finishes up the (not) Sorry! logo. The top row of chart C has a line of colored stitches that are best accomplished with duplicate stitch. But wait until next week. That area will be much easier to work once you finish clue 14.
This week I’m also replacing the last few clues with a single download for clues 1-12. Just keeps things tidier if you are joining the GAL madness part way into the knit along.
