Welcome to the final 2 weeks of the 4th and final 2022 Geek-A-Long Sock Project: Stray Socks!
If you are just joining us, you can find the project sheet HERE and Sock 1 HERE.
I’m having a little bit of ennui about posting the last Geek-A-Long pattern of the year. We’ve been geeking along for a long time now, and I feel this way at the end of every GAL – this year is no exception. On the other hand, it’s November and by this time each year we are already working on next year’s GAL, so I lose my sense of normal time too. I exist this week both in the past with sock 2 which I finished a while ago, and also in the future with GAL23.
Speaking of GAL23: Even thought this is the last pattern of the 2022 Geek-A-Long, stay tuned to this space over the next few months, we’ll be revealing all the exciting details for next year!
And now I will get back to sipping cocoa and watching the Santa Clause. As far as I’m concerned, Christmas cheer kicks in on November 1st. To all of you that groan when you see Christmas stuff out the second Halloween is over: I’m not sorry.
View Stray: Sock 2 by clicking the button below. When you download the pattern from our website instead of through Ravelry, you will NOT receive automatic updates. You will have to come here and download the next clue every time. Please download it via Ravelry if you are able, so you have immediate access to the clues as they are released and any errata that may appear.

BTW: It was brought to our attention that the “contact us” page was broken. It is now fixed, and we appreciate the heads up!! We don’t have a tech background, and like everything at L&L, we handle the website. And by “we”, I mean “Jac”. She has watched SO MANY youtube videos about fixing webpages. Anyhow, shout out to her for doing some sleuthing and getting it fixed. I assume there is some sort of blood magic involved in contact pages.
If you enjoyed this post, please consider making a donation to Child’s Play Charity. Here is a direct link to our official donation page benefiting the charity. Please help us raise $1,000 this year. No contribution is too small! Wanna make your donation go even further? Lattes & Llamas will donate $1 for every skein of Geek-A-Long Yarn purchased.
In Canada we have Remembrance Day on Nov 11, so I was always taught to wait until after then, out of respect for our veterans.
That being said, my family has a “holiday” tradition of watching the Avatar series all December, so I really go to town on Dec 1, haha.
