It has been forever since I’ve watched Fullmetal Alchemist or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Actually, I’m pretty sure I haven’t watched either of the anime’s iterations since we first released the blood seal back in 2015. So, give me just a minute here while I pull it up on my second computer screen and start an over-due rewatch of the BEST version of Fullmetal Alchemist. FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD.
Sidenote: If you’re hungry for a rewatch or want to view it for the first time, it’s available on Netflix right now.
Megan-Anne and I vehemently disagree on which version is the best. You can actually read a list of the reasons why I’m right and she’s wrong on the original post about the Elric Brothers. Although, I will admit that six years ago when she was trying to lure me away from DPNs to the dark side (Magic Loop), I was being stubborn. That method is far superior, and I couldn’t imagine going back to DPNs now. And while she might’ve been right about that ONE THING, she is not right about Fullmetal Alchemist versus Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
BROTHERHOOD IS BETTER.
“The Elric brothers live in a world where alchemy is the most advanced science. The people use transmutation circles and the laws of equivalent exchange to do incredible things. Of course, everything goes terribly wrong when the young brothers use their savant-like knowledge of alchemy to bring their mother back from the dead.”

You can read my original blog post by clicking this link. That post also contains a preview of the Geek-A-Long pattern and a download button like the one below for you to snag the pattern for yourself.
If you missed my introduction post about my revamp efforts for the 2015 squares, the pattern includes both the original 59 row by 59 stich pattern as well as a new 57 row by 45 stitch square patterns for both double knitting and crochet. I’ll be back next week with a revamped 2015 GAL square.
