It’s a catastrophe! We never shared Clue #7 with you! But don’t worry, I’m here to right that wrong, especially for those of you who are only following along at home and aren’t knitting Eight Bit. Rest assured, our plucky knitters did have access to Clue 7 last weekend.
Clue 1, Clue 2, Clue 3, Clue 4 made up the sleeves. Clue 5 cast on the body while Clue 6 continued it by leaning into the whimsy with a Pac-Man inspired motif.
Eight Bit: Clue Seven & Eight
When you add this pattern to your Ravelry library, you will have immediate access to 1) the project sheet, which includes the usual yarn/gauge/needle information for the sweater, as well as the instructions for a gauge swatch and 2) clues one through eight. The remaining four clues will be released via pattern updates. Once the project is added to your library, the clues will automatically be added to your library when they release.
Add the MKAL to your Ravelry library by following this link.
Clue 7 featured Mega Man while Clue 8 finishes out the body with a row of Boos lined up with the Stars and Mushrooms on the arms. See you next weekend when it’s time to join the sleeves and body to begin on the yoke!

Did you know that Boos are known as Teresa in Japan as Teresa? Well, now you do. The name comes from the Japanese verb ‘tereru’ (照れる), meaning ‘to be shy’.
