Even high functioning Sociopaths get cold toes.
I am thrilled to announce that Shersocks have joined the Kniterary collection and are available as a Ravely Download.
A PDF will be emailed to you by Ravelry. You don’t need to be a Ravelry member to order, but if you are, the PDF will show up in your library. If you are a member of Ravelry, you can view the Shersocks here.
Or you can purchase the pattern from the Lattes and Llamas Etsy store here.
Just because you’re a high-functioning sociopath is no reason to skip the fun socks! Knit in the round with adjustments for three sizes, these socks can be enjoyed by men and women alike.
This is an intermediate-advanced knit perfect for someone comfortable with making socks and following a color chart. Sizes are given as US women’s 6-12, and US men’s 4.5-10.5. Notes are made in the pattern instructing how to making them longer as needed, so really, there is no upper limit to the size on these.
Knit up in gorgeous Valley Yarns Huntington, these socks are all about letting the world know what a genius you are. I’ve been enjoying Valley Yarns for a while, Charlemont is one of my favorite go-to yarns, but this is the first time I tried out the Huntington Sock Yarn. OMG you guys, it’s so good. It was a pleasure to work with from balling to binding off. Plus, it’s mad affordable and machine washable. As soon as I finished this pair, I ordered myself a great big bag of a bunch of their colors.
Speaking of socks… We’ve been mentioning some “pretty exciting stuff in 2015” for a while now. It’s well and truly 2015 so it’s time to stop teasing and start announcing! In the second half of the year Jac and I are launching a sock club for nerds and fiberphiles:
The Society Of Caffeinated Knitters
Every month between now and July, we will release a sock pattern and ask you a question. It’s our goal to make this the best possible sock club, so we need your feedback to get all the details squared away. The club would deliver an exclusive pattern, yarn to make it, and a special surprise each month to subscribers. If you could take a minute each month to weigh in on our polls, it will make a huge difference in us being able to create a club that is exactly what you want it to be.
Since the start up costs on this are not insignificant we are considering a Kickstarter Campaign to get the ball rolling. This will help us procure the upfront stuff to fill your orders, and allow you to secure your place in the club as a backer, before the subscriptions go on sale to the masses. So the first question I’ve got is:

I’m gonna rock your socks off.
Love the design! This pattern may take me over the edge to do another pair of socks!
These are lovely!
Love it!
MUST make! Simply stunning!!
I love these socks!!! I’ve yet to complete a pair of socks (way to many uncompleted projects here) or use a color chart but I’m now motivated to get on it. :)
