Today, I'm controlling the things I can so I don't hyper focus on things I can't change. Instead of giving myself bangs, I'm refreshing the pictures in my entryway. Right now I'm looking through pictures from Rhinebeck, trying to find a good one of my niece. ⁠

I started knitting years ago to help manage my panic attacks and anxiety. Knit and remember you're not alone in this mess. Lose yourself in color work. Focus on small things that make you happy that they can't take from you. Here are mine:

1) The smell of fresh coffee beans.
2) The sound of crunching autumn leaves.
3) My cat's warm fur as he naps in a sunbeam.
4) Cheese.
5) Singing in the car with my sisters and niece.
