Egad!

The Chaos Creator Socks are a celebration of knitterly pandemonium. Made with a heavy sport weight yarn, these socks work up quickly with an interesting texture ribbing pattern to display the hand-dyed Bewitched Batches. The ribbing carried through the cuff and down through the top of the foot will help ensure a cozy fit to wear these socks around the house.

The Bewitched Batches got their start as Megan-Anne wanting to have fun trying out new dying techniques and color combos. All of the colors we add to this base now and in the future will only available for a limited time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! So if you love it, don’t rest on your laurels.

The Chaos Creator Socks happened after my husband whined that he doesn’t have enough handmade socks and — like the good wife I am — I knitted them in secret with the “Black Ajah” set. Unfortunately, I am ruled by the chaos god, Gritty, so I slipped them into his drawer and waited to see how long it took him to notice the addition. Ladies, Gentlemen, and Bad Ass Knitters, it took him a whole freaking week! Fueled by this experience, I’m knitting another pair in “Save the Unicorns” to gift them chaotically to another family member. I’m not saying that you have to do this to the people in your life if you knit these socks, but gosh is it fun.

Yes, we here at Lattes & Llama are super freaking pumped about the Wheel of Time series, which will air on November 19th.

Yes, we are very bitter that we were unable to attend the advanced screening of the first two episodes, even though there was a location near us. But Mabel the Merciless isn’t fully vaccinated yet, so we’re still avoiding crowds.

Yes, we are also extremely bitter that familial obligations are keeping us from watching it until the 23rd. We refuse to watch it without one another and are setting aside the 23rd as our special day to watch it. The Wheel of Time was a big part of our formative years, but more on that another day.

Yes, I finally understand how my baby sister Alena feels about the Hobbit movies. Like, they are objectively not great, but she will die on that hill defending them. Get ready to see me doing the same thing with the Wheel of Time series, because I have a problem! Likewise, I am allowed to talk crap about them, but no one else is. This is why my husband will not be allowed in the living room during our first screening, and not just because spoilers will abound as we pause to fangirl over stuff.
