This post will end my foray into animated sitcoms by Matt Groening. At least, I’m pretty sure we didn’t do any other Simpsons or Futurama GAL squares. I’m telling you, after Megan-Anne and I designed and knitted/crocheted over 300 Geek-A-Long squares, it’s easy to lose track of everything we’ve done. Take the Professor Frink square as an example, we released this one six years ago and I completely forgot that it existed. Hopefully, you’ll get to enjoy it again too, since he’s been revamped to fit our standard 45 sts by 57 row square format.
“The Simpsons have been gracing our televisions since 1989, and to date it is the longest running scripted prime time television show in history! Currently in its 30th season, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie have been a household name for nearly my entire life. “
~ Megan-Anne, week 8 of the 2019 Geek-A-Long
You can read the original blog post about Professor Frink by clicking this link or the one about the Simpsons in general by clicking this link. Those posts also contain previews of the Geek-A-Long patterns and a download button like the ones below for you to snag the pattern for yourself.
If you missed my introduction post about my revamp efforts for the 2015 squares, the pattern includes both the original 59 row by 59 stich pattern as well as a new 57 row by 45 stitch square patterns for both double knitting and crochet.

After redoing the donut chart with our new software, all I can think about are strawberry glazed donut. Mmm… donuts.
