So maybe “Pardon Our Dust” was putting it mildly. The shiny new changes to our website did not start out well, and there are a slew of freebies and sales at the end of this apology post to make up for it.
When I uploaded the new theme to our website last week, it thought it would be super cool to send all of our subscribers a batch of emails in Latin. In case you’re wondering or don’t know much about website design, those were example posts to show the designer what stuff could look like. Since Lattes & Llamas is an established website with followers, the result was a batch of spammy emails.
If you were a victim of my accidental spam, I am so sorry. If you unsubscribed from receiving our emails, I understand, but I do hope that you’ll consider signing up again. I’m switching us over to MailChimp to manage our newsletters and avoid this ever happening in the future. Either way, if you’re reading this…
Thanks for sticking with us!
There will be more sales once I finish overhauling the shop and reorganizing the Geek-A-Long content (such as the Squares navigation page), but for now you can download the Camp Wannaknit Tee pattern for free on Raverly by entering the coupon code MYBAD at check out.

The Camp Wannaknit Tee features a rolled hem and rolled trim along the neckline and armholes, garter ridges to punctuate your favorite speckled or variegated colorway, and an A-line silhouette that is wider at them than at the bust. With eight size options available, its swingy shape flatters most figures and guarantees a breezy, carefree garment that will make you feel as if you’re sitting at the end of a dock with your toes in the water, even if you’re actually just running errands.

This is my absolute favorite piece I have ever made, hands down. I’ve worn it to special events. I’ve used it as an every day scarf in the winter. And, I love to wear it as a statement piece on brisk days to punctuate an outfit. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been stopped on the street to have people ask about it.
You can’t hide it any longer. We’ve noticed that you never let your “legs” show. We’ve seen the forlorn glances you cast at the goldfish bowl. We’re on to you. You, ma’am, are a mermaid. It’s okay, your secret is safe with us. The Dabberlock Pashmina is the perfect way to pay homage to your Atlantean heritage while still maintaining your secret identity here on dry land. Crocheted in kettle dyed Adventure Yarn, it perfectly mimics the natural flow of seaweed growing in the ocean. Named for one of the tastiest of sea-spinaches, Dabberlock is as much fun to make as it is to wear.
About the Dabberlock Pashmina

Have your eye on one of our other patterns like the Beating Heart Tee? You’re in luck! Download any pattern from the Lattes & Llamas Ravelry Store for 20% off now through next Friday by entering the code SUPERSORRY at check out.
Once my stint as a web developer is over and everything is back to a newer, better normal, we’ll have a few other non-pattern-related giveaways and sales for you. For now, I hope you can accept these patterns as tribute.
