Today, we’re announcing the winner of our Spring Giveaway! To enter the contest, participants had to post one or more of their completed 2019 GAL squares, which included Rose Quartz from Steven Universe, Bill Cypher from Gravity Falls, Bill from Schoolhouse Rock, Pickle Rick from Rick and Morty, and She-Ra. It could have been knit, crocheted, cross-stitched, or whatever just as long as they posted it to our forum on Ravelry here.
To choose the winner, we used a random number generator and used their post number in the forum thread as their raffle number. Funny story, it actually picked number two first which was my post. I was quite excited until Megan-Anne informed me that none of these delightful things were for me, and to roll again.
Goodbye adorable little tote and bottles of Allure Fiber Wash that I could actually really use right now! I guess I’ll just have to go order more wool wash like a normal person.
Instead of me getting to see if maybe I’d like DPNs (double pointed needles) better than Magic Loop if they were Knitters Pride Royales, I’ll be mailing this box of cool stuff off to our grand prize winner, KnitasGonnaKnit.
CONGRATS, KNITASGONNAKNIT!
She won with her knitted Bill Cypher square.
Remember: Reality is an illusion; the universe is a hologram; buy gold! Bye!
Bill Cypher from Gravity Falls
She did a lovely job on her square, and even tackled the duplicate stitching to make his eyes white. Excellent work, KnitasGonnaKnit!
If you’re bummed you didn’t win, keep knitting those 2019 GAL squares. We have drawings planned for — you guessed it — summer, fall, and winter.

The most popular square that people submitted as their entry was Bill from Schoolhouse Rock. I was actually surprised a different Bill won.
