As someone who struggles with seasonal affective disorder, this time of year is always difficult for me. I eat my Vitamin D chewies and try to think wistful thoughts of long walks on sunny beaches. No matter how hard I try though, I can get a little dark and mopey. But there’s something about the arrival of Valentine’s Day that perks me up. It means I’m only a month away from my birthday, the return of the spring, and new yarn colors. To celebrate this shining day of love, we’re expanding our Monday flash sale!

But wait, which colors do you need for your square this Sunday? The recommended colors for yesterday’s square, Doctor Strange, were Invisible Jet and Magic Item. This week you’ll need Tesseract instead of our variegated dark orange. You can grab your hand-dyed GAL Yarn for half off until midnight (EST) on Valentine’s Day. As always, we will donate $1 to Child’s Play Charity every time you purchase a skein of Geek-A-Long Yarn, even if it’s on sale. It doesn’t matter if you plan to knit the week eight square with it or if you buy enough of the hand-dyed yarn to knit a cardigan, we’ll support Child’s Play Charity.
