About the Kit
The Geek-A-Long Starter Kit contains sixteen beautiful, 100 gram skeins of Lattes & Llamas Geek-A-Long Yarn, all hand-dyed for your knitting or crocheting pleasure. It will also come with a PDF/printed version of our GAL Blanket Planners. See GAL Blanket Planner information below. You will also receive a fuzzy, warm feeling knowing that we’ll donate $1 to Child’s Play Charity for each skein of Geek-A-Long Yarn you receive. That’s $16 to charity for just loving nerdy yarn!

The colorways include in the Starter Kit are Kamala Khan, Spider-Gwen, Miss Patty, Jessica Jones, Castiel, Captain Planet, RIP Severus, Bulbasaur, Hep Alien, Big Bird, Blonde Ambition, Gilded, Bard of Avon, Baskerville, Sequins, and Palpatine.

While we try to keep the kits in stock and ready to ship, this luxurious yarn may be dyed to order. Depending on our current volume, it may take 3-12 business days to create your hand-dyed lovelies. Please note that sometimes colors and textures look different on your computer screen than they do in person. If we had the power to fix this, we’d probably be billionaires. And we’d totally still make yarn.

And the price is pretty exciting too!
The base Geek-A-Long Starter Kit is only $316. If you were to order all 16 skeins separately at full price, that would cost $352!

Important GAL Blanket Planner Information
The GAL Blanket Planners are designed to help you track the squares you plan to knit, which year and week they came from in case you plan to come back and download the square patterns later, which colorways you plan to use, a checkbox to mark off when it’s done, and a graph at the end for you to plan out the placement of the squares on your blanket.

A PDF of the GAL Blanket Planners can be accessed through the clickable download link in your invoice/order confirmation. Customers who choose the printed version will receive the Hard Mode GAL Blanket Planner in a binder along with the digital copies of the Recommended, Hard Mode, and Nightmare Mode Planners, which will be sent for future use.
