About the Kit
The Geek-A-Long 2019 Blanket Kit contains 23 beautiful, 100 gram skeins of Lattes & Llamas Geek-A-Long Yarn, all hand-dyed with enough yarn for you to knit a 2019 GAL afghan just like ours from beginning to end. It will also come with a PDF/printed version of our GAL Blanket Planners. See GAL Blanket Planner information below. You will also receive a fuzzy, warm feeling knowing that we’ll donate $1 to Child’s Play Charity for each skein of Geek-A-Long Yarn you receive. That’s $23 to charity for just loving nerdy yarn!

The colorways include in the 2019 Blanket Kit are Kamala Khan (2), Spider-Gwen (1), Miss Patty (1), Jessica Jones (1), Castiel (1), Captain Planet (1), RIP Severus (1), Bulbasaur (4), Hep Alien (1), Big Bird (1), Blonde Ambition (1), Gilded (1), Bard of Avon (1), Baskerville (2), Sequins (1), and Palpatine (3).

While we try to keep the kits in stock and ready to ship, this luxurious yarn may be dyed to order. Depending on our current volume, it may take 3-12 business days to create your hand-dyed lovelies. Please note that sometimes colors and textures look different on your computer screen than they do in person. If we had the power to fix this, we’d probably be billionaires. And we’d totally still make yarn.

The base Geek-A-Long 2019 Blanket Kit is only $405. If you were to order all 23 skeins separately at full price, that would cost $506!

Important GAL Blanket Planner Information
The GAL Blanket Planners are designed to help you track the squares you plan to knit, which year and week they came from in case you plan to come back and download the square patterns later, which colorways you plan to use, a checkbox to mark off when it’s done, and a graph at the end for you to plan out the placement of the squares on your blanket.

A PDF of the GAL Blanket Planners can be accessed through the clickable download link in your invoice/order confirmation. Customers who choose the printed version will receive the Recommended GAL Blanket Planner in a binder along with the digital copies of the Recommended, Hard Mode, and Nightmare Mode Planners, which will be sent for future use.

This does NOT include the actual GAL square patterns. Those must be downloaded from our website as they are released every other Sunday in 2019.
