About the Socks
You’re relaxing beside the fire on a cozy winter evening with a book in your hands and a hot drink steaming on the end table when you remember that you promised so-and-so you’d knit them something. Egad!
The Chaos Creator Socks are a celebration of knitterly pandemonium. Made with a heavy sport weight yarn, these socks work up quickly with an interesting texture ribbing pattern to display the hand-dyed Bewitched Batches. The ribbing carried through the cuff and down through the top of the foot will help ensure a cozy fit to wear these socks around the house.
Sizing Information
Size 1(2, 3, 4) has a foot circumference of 6.5(7.25, 8, 8.75) inches.
Sample is shown in a size 4.
Recommended Yarn
1 Lattes & Llamas Bewitched Batch or a comparable heavy sport or light DK weight yarn in two colorways.
Sample is shown in ‘Black Ajah’.
Please note it is possible to knit the largest size with one Bewitched Batch, but you may play yarn chicken at the end with the complementary color and should be conservative with your tails.
Needles
US3 / 3.25 mm and US5 / 3.75mm circular needles to work in Magic Loop or size needed to obtain gauge.
If you are more comfortable using DPNs or two circulars, this pattern is easily converted.
Gauge
22 sts and 30 rounds = 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles, knit in the round
