2016 Geek-A-Long: Plants vs Zombies

18 Plants vs Zombies 2

If pea plants and sunflowers could really protect my house from the inevitable zombie apocalypse, I might start keeping up with my garden. Actually, I still probably wouldn’t, and the zombies would get me and my tombstone would say:

Here lies Megan-Anne. She hated yard work so much it killed her.

You probably know PopCap Games from Peggle and the one where you have a fish and aliens attack the fish tank, but Plants vs. Zombies took them to a whole new place. They were in the market of small browser games, and Plants vs. Zombies was no exception at its inception. Except it was a game so good that it blurred the line between casual gamers and hardcore committed game fanatics. There aren’t a ton of games that appeal to both the Farmville audience and the Bioshock crowd, but really, who doesn’t want to kill zombies with butter on their heads? No one, that’s who.

Plants vs. Zombies wasn’t on our original list, but it definitely belongs on the blanket. It was voted up to the 14th place on our leaderboards by Fromthehightower1 who said…

…nothing. Because nothing needs to be said to justify adding such a fun game! You can snag ten free hours of the newest game, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, HERE. After all, zombies won’t kill themselves.

When the zombies attack, just sit there and don’t do anything. You win the game when the zombies get to your houze. -This help section brought to you by the zombies.
