Is it possible to have an Eggo Waffle hangover? Because I’m pretty sure I have one. Over the weekend, we had a nine-hour-long Stranger Things 2 marathon party, and we ate an embarrassing amount of waffles. I’m talking about bought-it-in-bulk-from-CostCo amount of embarrassing. I naively thought I’d have some left over for breakfast for the next month, but no. We went at them like it was our jobs. On the upside, my sugar high ensured that I made serious progress on my Christmas knitting.
But today isn’t about Christmas knitting or how Steve and Dustin became my favorite duo in part 2 of Stranger Things. Today the Linvilla Pullover!
I am in LOVE with this sweater. LOVE, I TELL YOU. The pattern is easy to follow and has just enough texture on the arms and sides of the body to keep it interesting. There is nothing worse than knitting miles of stockinette stitch. I zone out and realize I’ve watched most of a movie without making a single stitch. Also, this pullover is freaking adorable with that pop of color on the hem and cuffs. I’m already hard at work on an adult sized version for me!
Oh my gosh, I love this purple! The second sample of the Linvilla Pullover is knitting up so fast. Normally, k1p1 ribbing is painfully slow for me, but I'm riding on that new project high. Which is weird since I just finished one… I think this might be my new favorite sweater pattern! ❤️ ❤️ Yarn is @lattesandllamasyarn #crossroadsyarn in Abaddon for the new sample. Alistair (main color) and Aslan (complementary color) for the finished child size. ❤️ ❤️ #comingsoon #knittersofinstagram #knitting #knittersofig #knittersgonnaknit #ravelry #sweaterweather #sweaterknitting #designer #yarndyer #yarn
Named after the orchard where we go to pick apples, choose our pumpkins, and cut down our own Christmas Tree, the Linvilla Pullover is the perfect pint-sized garment to keep your favorite little person warm and adorable. There are seven different sizes available to knit, from sizes 0-6 months all the way up to an 8-10 year old. The instructions run by inches knit instead of rows, so you can easily customize it for your beanpoles and chunky-monkeys. Get 20% off the Linvilla Pullover Pint-Sized now through November 1st to celebrate its release. No coupon code needed! Just click the ‘Buy Now’ button below and the discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
A PDF will be emailed to you by Ravelry. You don’t need to be a Ravelry member to purchase the pattern, but if you are, the PDF will show up in your library. If you are a member of Ravelry, you can view the Linvilla Pullover Pint-Sized in the database.
I’m excited to see which color combos you guys come up with for it. I did the pint-sized sample that Mabel is wearing in Alistair (MC) and Aslan (CC). The grey shows off the texture beautifully and the orangish-red, gives it that pop.
Happy Halloween (eve)!
The best part about this pullover, other than the fact that it’s squish-ably comfy, is that every time I finish knitting one, we have another excuse to drive down to Linvilla Orchards to photograph it. I love that place, and their Cider Donuts!
